what to expect when visiting

If you are a visitor to the Sturgis Nazarene we suggest you park in the upper level parking lot and enter the doors under the portico. You will be greeted at the door and are encouraged to get some coffee, from the coffee room before entering the service. Make sure to check in at our welcome center.

There is no dress code. You can dress casually or formally, as you prefer. We just want to meet you!

At Sturgis Nazarene, we are crazy about kids. Kids programming is available during Sunday School and Sunday services for babies to 5th Grade.

Wednesday nights we have Caravan (a christian scouting program) 4 yr olds - 5th grade.  There are also programs for youth and teens which range from grades 6th-12th at 6:00 PM. (All of your kids rooms are staffed with volunteers who have had a background checks)

At the Sturgis Church of the Nazarene we believe that the giving of tithes and offerings is an act of worship.  Each member is encouraged to tithe as Scripture indicates.  As visitors and  those who are new to the church, we do not expect you to give unless the Lord has laid it on your heart.  We are simply thrilled that you would join us in worship.  2 Corinthians 9:7 states “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver”.
